This crucial stage is where we do a thorough inspection of the site to determine the most efficient way to execute the demolition. We will assess the building to be demolished, including the materials used in its construction, and identify any hazards or contaminants at the site. We’ll note any on-site outbuildings, features or landscaping that are to be preserved, and include protection in our planning to ensure they remain intact. During the site inspection, we may need to take measurements and photographs, to assist in the overall planning of the project.

Each demolition job is unique, with its own set of challenges and requirements, making it essential that we meticulously plan the entire project, before commencing any physical work. This includes the allocation of equipment, personnel, safety resources and timeline calculations, as well as a compliant waste management, recycling and disposal strategy. Each stage is carefully detailed to ensure your project is executed with maximum efficiency, safety and precision. We will also secure all the necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and notifying any affected parties.

At every stage of the execution, we abide by industry safety standards, ensuring our operation has minimal impact on neighbours, their property and the environment. Hazardous materials and debris will be safely contained and removed from the site to be disposed of thoughtfully, in accordance with environmental regulations. In keeping with our commitment to the environment, any reusable materials will be recycled, to be repurposed for future use. Using the latest practices and state-of-the-art equipment, we will complete the demolition stage efficiently, on time and within budget.

Once the demolition is complete, the Capital Demolition team gets to work cleaning up. We ensure all debris and waste is removed from the site, and safely disposed of. Environmentally conscious disposal is at the forefront of mind in the clean up stage. Where possible, scrap is recycled so that it can be reinvented in a new project. Contaminated or hazardous materials are securely contained and discarded in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
